Deputy Head

Hello Everybody! My name is Ms Talib and I am Deputy Head at Temple Primary School. I have been working at Temple for about six years and I really enjoy it! I have to get up very early every morning to travel into Manchester from Burnley, where I live.
I don't have my own class but I do teach literacy and numeracy in Year 6 and am hoping to go into lots of different classes across the school to see the wonderful work that Temple children do. You can come and see me in my office which is next to Mrs Morton's. Please bring some of your work to show me or you can just come and have a chat!
Assistant Head
Bonjour! My name is Mrs Lord. I have been working at
My favourite subject is Maths, because I just love to solve puzzles and problems. I live in Prestwich with Mr Lord. It doesn't take me very long to get to school, and sometimes I even walk home. Don't forget to say "hello" if you see me walking past! My favourite colour is green, because it reminds me of nature and being outdoors. I have been going to Art classes each week in the evenings. I love to draw and paint in my spare time. Also, I really LOVE to sing!

Hi - only me, Mrs Smith! I have been at Temple for 11 years now, and have loved every minute. In September 2011, I changed my roll and am now in the office all the time! I am feel I am very lucky to be working with such lovely people and children and in a nice environment where everyone pulls together. A great team!
ICT Technician
Hello! I'm Miss Neilam and I am Temple's ICT Technician!
My job is to fix any ICT problems we have around the school and to help staff and pupils with lots of different multimedia projects. I like working at Temple because the pupils are always excited to learn about ICT. That is why I have started an Advanced ICT club for Gifted and Talented pupils, where they can learn about making professional movies! In my spare time, I like reading about history and meeting up with my friends.
I am also responsible for maintaining this website, so I hope you enjoy your visit!
Play Therapist
Hi Everyone! My name is Miss Mathieson! I am the Play Therapist at Temple. My job is to help you feel happier in school. I know that lots of children go through hard times at home and have personal problems and worries. I understand that sometimes when you come to school you find it hard to concentrate because you have so much on your mind! I am here to help :) I run many different workshops in school and take some children out for one-to-one sessions. I am in school on Mondays, Tuesdays and Wednesdays, so please come and see me if you need someone to talk to!
Foreign Language Assistant
Hola! I am Miss Ana. I am from Spain and this is my second year at Temple :) . I support the teachers when they teach Spanish. Also I run my own Spanish clubs for children, parents and staff. I really enjoy being part of this school. It has definitely changed my life. I love England although I miss my family, friends and my lovely pets! I also love travelling and I could not live without music! Adios!
LEAP Coordinator
Hi everyone my name is Mrs Khan. I love working at Temple because it is so diverse. Every day is jam-packed with lots of things to do with the children and parents, there’s never a dull moment. As co-ordinator of the LEAP team, I am very lucky to work alongside an enthusiastic team of people who make sure all the new children coming from different countries are made to feel welcome and safe from the moment they arrive. Did you know we now have almost 40 countries represented at Temple? When I’m not at school I get to spend a lot of time with my family. It can get a bit noisy when we’re altogether as you can imagine, especially when we all like to talk. One of my greatest highlights was attending the Hajj in November 2011. Keep smiling - “Everyone smiles in the same language.”
